I was sought out and requested to join the project during its "crunchtime", as there were still unfinished shots that had art but no animation. Assisting with the on time delivery, I was able to complete a significant number of shots, and demonstrated executive creative decision making while compositing the animations for the climactic 30 second-long "walk into the sunset" shot (from 9:29-10:00).

⦿ Integral to VFX Workflow Template Development ⦿
‣ Compositing, mouth replacement, rig and green screen removal, procedural weather and smoke effects within after effects.
A new and semi-complex dialogue-sync mouth-replacement effect was actively being incorporated into the production of the show being shot on stages in Canada, but the lead compositor was unable to streamline the post-production workflow and ultimately left the project. The project was handed off to the company's Los Angeles branch, where one VFX artist and myself were asked to rebuild and improve the work that had been previously done, while spearheading the development of a show project template for ease of onboarding new artists into the show's VFX-heavy pipeline.
Getting a solid system under control allowed for the on-time completion of the show's pitch clip, thus contributing to the signing of voice actor Tom Waits.
Because of the amount of initial work already completed, and the ease of onboarding with the template project, the first episode was completed using a mere five vfx artists.
Still, certain VFX needed visual consistency across the series, and as such I was the sole artist for nearly all the smoking and rain procedural effects in the show. Additionally, tom waits' character's beard proved problematic when it came to using the same exact mouth-replacement method as the other characters. I came up with an alternate method that involved animating the beard (with VFX) as if it were attached to his bottom lip. It was deemed highly effective and so I was assigned all other bearded shots where performance and seamless VFX were paramount.
